Yesterday was a “wherever the wind takes us” kind of day.
This wind took us to the White House.
Check one off my DC-list. It’s strange that you can just kind of be at the White House. Want to just sit in front of it and text? Sure. Stick your hands through the gate to take pictures? Go right ahead! No one is really stopping you from just chillin’ at the president’s home.
The wind then carried us to Old Ebbitt Grill, the oldest saloon in Washington. A brisk (ok, freezing) walk to Chinatown found us at some Irish bar that Halloween practically threw up on. Then, I got the minimal amount of sleep possible before dragging myself out of bed for my first Gally homecoming. I’ll leave you with something inspirational…
